The Morning After

Hahaha.  I'm so silly.  I was going for a double entendre with the title of this post.  The "morning after" to which I'm referring is the morning after my bake sale!  I'm lucky that I work somewhere where I can peddle my baked goods, and that is exactly what I did with my leftovers from yesterday.

I decided to offer a selection of treats instead of just one type so that people would have options.  I didn't put everything out (there wouldn't have been enough space, even if I had wanted to) but I did offer three things: brownie cookies, chocolate-dipped peanut butter granola bombs and almond bark.  The almond bark and brownie cookies sold out rather quickly and then I set out my truffle-stuffed Oreo (actually Newman-O) chunk cookies.  Tomorrow I think I'll also offer one more thing--I'm thinking my macaroons but maybe I'll offer my rice crispy treats.

What do you think??  Please share your thoughts on what you think I should offer!

Waaaahhhh...I hate picture-less posts so here is the dinner I had tonight:

Spaghetti squash with chunky garlic-y tomato-mushroom sauce and homemade pesto.

That's all I got!  More pictures to come tomorrow!

P.S.  Sarah--I will post the recipe for my vegan/gluten-free salted caramel chocolate chunk bars soon ;)  Did you get a chance to try the pumpkin roll yet?!

  1. Yay I'm so excited for that recipe!! I did try the pumpkin roll last night and it was delicious!!! I the smell was amazing and it was absolutely perfect! Going to post it on my blog tonight :)

The spaghetti squash looks delicious! The chunky sauce looks and sounds perfect, I'd love to make something like that!

Hmmm, I'm a sucker for macaroons, I'd definitely go for those!

    Thanks again for the treats!

  2. I'm so glad you liked it! And I'm glad it was still as fresh as when I made it ;)) The combo with the coconut milk looks AWESOME! I'm going to have to get my hands on some of that!!

I love spaghetti squash (although not as much as butternut) and wouldn't you know, I just had the other half of the squash tonight for dinner with this really yummy garlic marinara sauce called Monte Bene (http://www.montebene.com/). Have you had it?!? It's sooooo good and I love that it has very few ingredients. I prefer to make my own tomato sauce but I have, like, NO groceries so I worked with what I had!
